– 30 years from now I hope that I can look my son in the eyes and say that I have done all I can with the resources I had, to build a better future for him.

How will you describe yourself in five words?

– Passionate, an opportunity-builder, gate-opener, navigator and an inspirator. I see myself as an honest and committed “people-Bridger” and connector. I navigate change by connecting people to opportunities.

Precisely, why do you do what you do?

– I believe that we can influence and create our future. Looking at the state of the world today affected by the climate change, I think our focus should be on building a better future for our kids and the next generation.

What is your passion, and how is this reflected in your job?

– People are my biggest passion. There are so many incredible people and talents who are drivers for change and innovation.

Who/what inspires you the most?

– There are many people out there who inspire me, such as Peter Diamandis, Sapkota Pradeep, Peter Senge, Bitten Schei, Ingrid Stange, James Ehrlich, Tharald Nustad, Christiana Gardikioti and Leif Edvinsson.

What are your sources for a future insight?

– All the people we are collaborating with in the Living Bridges Planet network are like a living pool of insights and knowledge, which they are generously sharing with others.

Why have you agreed to become one of InnoMag´s topic-editors?

– Norway is in a position to take a leading role in navigating the future, and InnoMag can be a great tool to facilitate and navigate a strategic change. As my friend Tharald Nustad says; “trust is the new oil” and that is what Norway can capitalize on ahead.

Bert Ola will contribute with material about the impact economy, in which we hope our readers at InnoMag will have a great preference of reading.
